Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) used on Meme Corp, and how to control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. “Local storage” is a similar browser feature for saving small preferences. Both let a site remember things between visits.
What we use
- Strictly necessary — used only if you log into the admin area (session). Not set for ordinary visitors.
- Preferences — your light/dark theme choice, kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
- Analytics — we measure article views in aggregate to see what people read. We aim to keep this non-identifying.
- Advertising — if ads are shown, ad partners may set cookies to measure and serve them.
- Third-party embeds — articles may embed posts from X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. When an embed loads, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Third-party cookies
We don’t control cookies set by embedded platforms or ad partners. Review their privacy and cookie policies for details on what they collect and how to opt out.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage there too. Most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies specifically. Note that blocking some cookies may affect embedded content.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
